2 Peter 3:10-13

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything done in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD? (Amos 8:11).

The rapture of the church will precede or coincide with war in the middle east. This could be the Psalm 83 war, Isaiah 17 and the Ezekiel 38 & 39 war. A world Statesman (Antichrist) will arrange for peace between Israel and it's neighbours around this time. This is when things get really bad. The peace covenant is really a prophetic door into the Tribulation -- seven catastrophic years of terror, war, devastating storms, earthquakes, floods, famine, disease, and unprecedented human suffering.

During this perid of time sound doctrine will not be allowed and a false world religion will be enforced. Those that refuse to accept the beast religion will have their heads cut off (sounds like Islam).

God Has Promised - He will come again, just as He said He would.  I am of the conviction that this coming will be in two stages.  First, He will appear in the clouds and catch away His Bride and take her away to Heaven, 1 Thes. 4:16-17; 1 Cor. 15:51-52.  Then, after a seven year period of tribulation here on the earth, I believe that Jesus Himself will return in great glory and will defeat the armies of the Anti-Christ and will establish His throne from which He will rule and reign for a thousand years, Rev. 19:11-21.  Whatever the sequence of events, the primary response from man needs to be that man readies himself for that hour - Matt. 24:44.

Those that are watching for the return of Jesus and the signs of His coming would understand that time is short. We truely live in exciting times.

To those scoffers that deny the reality of Christ?s coming.  The bible speaks of those that don't believe and those that will go through tribulation. It is a sad fact but we are approaching the end of the church age and the beginning of Daniels 70th week (7 year period). This means that many if not all of us are going to have family, loved ones and friends that are going to enter the tribulation period. The only positive about this is that the bible teaches that a great multitude are going to be saved out of tribulation because they refuse to deny Christ and follow the world system. They will die for their faith. It is a time of great evil on earth. Scripture says in 2Thess 2:11 that God will send them a strong delusion that they should believe a lie. Satan is the father of lies.

As church age saints, living on the edge of this time period, we are not restricted to witnessing in the church age only. We are in a unique position to be able to sow seed's of life and truth into the great harvest of the tribulation period also. There are many different way of doing this and below I've listed a few ideas that you can put with your own ideas to leave behind for your family and friends.

* Leave your loved ones a cyber-letter on the web through raptureletters.com .  It's a free service.

* Prophecy tapes and DVD's (This website has some under the "Videos" tab at the top of this pages).

* Marked bibles

* End Times books

* Information on the mark of the beast. (This is important information)

* Information on spiritual warfare prayers. (We have links at the bottom of our prayer page)

* Pray and release you faith for the salvation of family and friends.

* Something to consider is that christain websites may be shut down at some time to suppress the truth (Amos 8:11). Why not transfer all of your end times / left behind  data  including multimedia files onto a USB memory stick. They are small, portable, robust and easy to hide. Able to be used from one computer to another.  Just a thought to add to you own ideas. Make a Rapture Survival Kit for your family and friends today.
