I have heard the infamous quote " Barak Obamma is a "good man , he cares about the people , he's for the people but the problem with this statement is just because he seems to be "good and people loving , what did the Lord say about the "fruits of the spirit "
Matthew 7:16 -You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? 17“So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. 18“A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. 19“Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20“So then, you will know them by their fruits.
ever hear of the statement " the road of hell is also paved with " good intentions "
what we think will be good for the country and what is Blessed by GOD are 2 very different things .
here are some famous statements by men of GOD our founding four fathers that Always put GOD first in their lives , families , on the war front and even in the White house .
the Founding Fathers of the United States believed that God was present at Philadelphia—and they saw His handiwork in the process of forming the country. During the Constitutional Convention, "at a particularly fierce period of debate in late June 1787, when agreement seemed distant, Benjamin Franklin spoke up. In a passionate, intelligent, and measured tone, Franklin reminded the Convention of what God had done for America thus far" (Jon Meacham, American Gospel: God, the Founding Fathers, and the Making of a Nation
A few years later in 1790, Franklin wrote to Yale University President Ezra Stiles, stating, "As to Jesus of Nazareth, my Opinion of whom you particularly desire, I think the System of Morals and his Religion, as he left them to us, is the best the World ever saw, or is likely to see"
The premier Founding Father was of course George Washington, known as the "Father of his country." He led American forces during the Revolution, headed the Constitutional Convention and served as the first president of the republic for two terms.
When Delaware Indian chiefs brought three youths to be trained in American schools in 1779, General Washington had an aide write these words to them: "Congress will look upon them as their own Children . . . You do well to wish to learn our arts and ways of life, and above all, the religion of Jesus Christ. These will make you a greater and happier people than you are. Congress will do everything they can to assist you in this wise intention"
Another major figure in the founding of America, though not so well-known today, was Samuel Adams—second cousin of second U.S. president John Adams—who was eulogized as the "Father of the American Revolution." He eventually became the governor of Massachusetts.
Samuel Adams declared: "I conceive we cannot better express ourselves than by humbly supplicating the Supreme Ruler of the world . . . that the confusions that are and have been among the nations may be overruled by the promoting and speedily bringing in the holy and happy period when the kingdoms of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ may be everywhere established, and the people willingly bow to the sceptre of Him who is the Prince of Peace"
Lincoln read the Bible in his youth and throughout much of his life. "Marching into the chasm of the Civil War, Lincoln immersed himself in the Bible, which he called 'the best gift God has given to man'" (Michael Beschloss, Presidential Courage: Brave Leaders and How They Changed America 1789-1989, 2007, p. 121). In his second inaugural address near the end of the war in 1865, he made 14 references to God, several biblical allusions and direct quotations from Psalms and Matthew
Theodore (or "Teddy") Roosevelt, 26th president of the United States for two terms from 1901 to 1909, was the youngest in the nation's history. "Taught by his pious Dutch Reformed father, he had started memorizing the Bible at age three . . . He once told a Bible study group, 'It is a good and necessary thing to be intelligent. It is a better thing to be straight and decent and fearless.' For Roosevelt, a good Christian must not be greedy for earthly rewards" (p. 153).
"Theodore and [his wife] Edith taught all the children, girls as well as boys, the importance of obedience . . . Both Theodore and Edith believed in robust righteousness . . . and the Biblical passages they cherished, most notably one about doing justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with your God.
These my friends are the "good fruits of men , these men our Leaders of the 21st Century loved GOD and respected HIM above all ...
now lets see what is redefining our country today
with the current president of the United States of America !
Jesus told His followers that the way to recognize Christian brethren is by inspecting fruit. Jesus said, "No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit." Thus, "by their fruit you will recognize them."
At the National Prayer Breakfast, partial "bitter clinger" Barack Obama, missing only a gun, tried to tell the crowd of 3,000 that he was a Scripture-quoting, Bible-toting Christian. Using the Word of God to justify the advancement of liberal policy, the president linked left-wing economic policy with obedience to Scripture and, by doing so, dared critics to disagree with God.
As the foundation of his faith, Obama referenced a key Scripture from Genesis wherein God asked Cain, after Cain killed his own brother, "Where is your brother Abel?" to which Cain replied, "I don't know, am I my brother's keeper?"
The president said his faith is based on "[l]iving by the principle that we are our brother's keeper. Caring for the poor and those in need." He maintained that those values are the ones that define his "faith journey," which has also translated into "policies that support research to fight disease and support foreign aid."
Seems the president hasn't read the Scripture that says, "Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much," because Obama-style Christianity is yet to acknowledge the glaring contradiction in wanting to be trusted with the world's poor while disregarding the "very little" needs of a blood brother, impoverished and living in squalor in a Kenya slum.
Nonetheless, the president said that his faith also inspires him to voluntarily "give up some of the tax breaks" he enjoys. If Obama has his way, the rest of America will not be afforded the gratification of similar voluntary charitable contributions. In essence, establishing governmental mandates to support liberal causes is a religion unto itself, whose dogma redirects tithing from the faith community to the federal government, where alms gathered under compulsion are distributed through benevolent bureaucracy. After the collection plate is filled, give-up-the-tax-break proceeds fund brother's-keeper essentials like abortion, contraception, sterilization, and fighting disease with an ever-expanding food stamp program.Barack Obama deciding to openly declare that Jesus applauds the "yes we can" brand has opened him up to public scrutiny. By exploiting biblical Christianity for political gain, he has invited examination from, among others, Republican presidential hopeful and devout Christian Rick Santorum, who dared broach the subject of the president's innovative "theology."More recently, on Morning Joe, Reverend Franklin Graham, son of evangelist Billy Graham, a man Obama allegedly prayed with, also compared the president's words against the backdrop of his actions. Based on the condition of some wormy fruit, as diplomatically as he could, Graham cast serious doubt on the state of Barack Obama's tree and expressed uncertainty as to whether the latter is really a Christian.Graham did confirm his belief that Rick Santorum was "a man of faith ... because his values are so clear on moral issues." About Santorum, Graham said, "I just appreciate the moral stances he takes on things," a sentiment Reverend Graham did not express when speaking about Barack Obama.Under close examination, America's self-described "Christian" president's fruit includes anti-Christian stances such as condoning and supporting gay marriage, calling Romans 1:26-27 an "obscure passage," and being vehemently pro-choice. The president even opposes saving the lives of infants born alive during botched abortions, which translates into infanticide. To Christian brethren who deem contraceptive and abortion anathema, in lieu of God's will, Obama has instituted governmental doctrine by foisting his will on people of faith, denying those with whom he supposedly identifies the constitutional right to freedom of religion.Someone should remind the president that immediately following the "my brother's keeper" verse in Genesis, when Cain claimed he didn't know the whereabouts of the brother he had murdered, the Lord knew and said, "What have you done? Listen! Your brother's blood cries out to me from the ground."Besides the blood of unborn children crying out from the ground, in addition to being a champion of choice, the "peacemaker" president has condoned and helped spread racial division. While claiming to be a follower of Christ, Obama criticizes, disrespects, and has all but turned his back on Israel, the "apple of God's eye." Against Isaac and the nation of Israel, Barack Hussein Obama has sided almost exclusively with Ishmael. On his first Christmas in the White House, Barack Obama requested that the Nativity scene be removed from the East Room -- a request that was overridden. Shockingly, when speaking in Christian venues, he has also requested that the crucifix, the universal symbol of Christianity, be obscured from view. On more than one occasion, the president has misquoted Scripture, and while he often decries injustice toward Muslims, he has yet to speak on behalf of Christians being persecuted worldwide.Franklin Graham rightly pointed out that under close inspection Obama appears to have some problematic fruit. Graham said, "Under President Obama, the Muslims of the world, he seems more concerned about them than the Christians being murdered in the Muslim countries."Caring for the poor, fighting disease, supporting foreign aid, and publicly declaring the sanctimonious attitude of being willing to give up tax breaks are the noble aspirations that President Obama claims define his pick-and-choose religion. Barack Obama's customized Christianity is such that it discounts and mockingly downplays the Sermon on the Mount and then, in order to advance gay rights, resurrects and convolutes Jesus' teaching of the Beatitudes.Clearly, the President feels at ease redefining everything from "fairness" to the "American dream" to "traditional marriage," all the way to the foundational tenets that define America. But fear not -- in due time, the God of the Bible will surely expose the folly of those who, in an attempt to justify a liberal agenda, exploit Scripture and attempt to redefine Christianity.your right when Jesus said " judge that you be not judged for GOD is our only judgeand if christians cannot or refuse to open their eyes to the fact this president is baring "good fruit " and good moral values then we have decayed to the point that compromise and "only good works " or good intensions are the path to the beginning to self destruction ! of our morals our Country and the blessings GOD gave her !the song GOD bless America Land that i love stand beside her and guide her through the night ( with the light ( GODS light ) from above !GOD bless America my home sweet Homeis becoming a distant whisper in the distance with GOD removed from the walls to the White House to the prayer of God in classrooms to the point the very word GOD if used in some places in America is quickly gagged and they are commanded to shut up or legal actions will be taken against you cause"its offensive to the Muslims ?"quoted by the president himselfto the unheard cries of the Innocent chiildren that will not be given a voicebut their Mothers a Choice and with Obamma there smiling away while handing out freecontraception and trying to pass a law that will force every human beings hand to pay for abortions weather they are pro- choice or pro life !proverbs 6:16There are six things the LORD hates--no, seven things he detests:haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,in the end GOD will be the Judge for the "good intentions " are not Christianbut only good works and paved to the road to hellJesus said " I am the way the truth the life "and many will think they will be accepted into the kingdom by "good intentions , good men , good women , good children , when they will her HIM say"Depart from me you worker of iniquity i knew you NOT !Only through the shed blood and redemption and repentancewill we walk into HIS kingdom !
so the next time you hear " oh i think Barak Obama is a good man "
tell them so is the road paved to hell with "good intentions "
Pray for our Leaders
God bless

I find Romney's faith infinitely more troubling. http://www.jashow.org/category/q-and-a/mormonism-questions/
How Christians can vote for a guy whose faith teaches Jesus and Lucifer are brothers and God is just a created being, a glorified man that became God, is beyond me.
Former Mormon Ed Decker describes the occult practices carried out in Mormon temples.

Interesting how neither The President or his republican challenger worship The Lord Jesus Christ. America has condemed herself and is unrepentant of her sins. Still, scattered here and there, are the chosen and the faithful and we are not long to be here! It is the best of times and the worst of times and particularly hard on those of us who have people we love who won't listen and don't care!! The crown that awaits those who love The Lord and watch for His appearing requires a high price. It's not just a ribbon won at the county fair. | |
