Serge was a well-known speaker and author within both the Canadian and US prison system. He was saved in prison year's ago, pardoned by the Canadian government, and actually, placed within the Canadian government as head of their bureau of prisons. He led many to faith in Christ, and was also active in supporting a prison ministry the Lord has provided in Indiana at Pendleton Juvenile Correctional Facility, which is America's largest maximum security prison for juvenile offenders.
Serge lost his battle with cancer but his work still bares fruit today in those he touched in life, his wife Janine and his two children. Serge sent me his book before he went home to the Lord. "UNTWISTED: From Lawbreaker to Lawmaker" is the inspirational true life story of one man's riveting journey from the depths of darkness and self-destruction to respected politician, author, and sought after motivational speaker.
