When we consider the greatest of all miracles we must look at cause and effect, the relationship between the action and the effect or result. Who was affected or how many benefited. How long did the miracle last ... was it a day, a year or a generation. According to the Gospel accounts, here are the miracles Jesus performed. Though this is an incomplete list according to John .....

"Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written." - John 21:25

While the above list shows the power and authority of Jesus as man and God, only one of these miracles made a way for the redemption of mankind ... generations past, present and future. Again, when we consider the cause and effect of all these miracles, my thought is that the greatest miracle is the miracle of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus the Christ. It is the miracle of the Cross. The way of redemption is by the Cross and no other way. Believing in any or all of the other miracles listed above will not pay the price for your salvation.

Only the death, buriel and resurrection of Jesus the Christ paid the price, in full, for the salvation of mankind. This is our gift ...

Jesus is the way of salvation! Jesus took our sin upon Himself (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus died in our place (Romans 5:6-9 ), taking the punishment that we deserve. Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead, proving His victory over sin and death (Romans 6:4-5). Why did He do it? Jesus answered that question Himself: “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). Jesus died so that we could live. If we place our faith in Jesus, trusting His death as the payment for our sins, all of our sins are forgiven and washed away. We will then have our spiritual hunger satisfied. The lights will be turned on. We will have access to a fulfilling life. We will know our true best friend and good shepherd. We will know that we will have life after we die ... a resurrected life in heaven for eternity with Jesus!

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

YOUR ETERNITY DEPENDS ON THE CHOICE YOU MAKE ... Jesus is the only way. He is this worlds only hope.  Blessings

1Thessalonians 5:16 -18   Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.   KJV
